The band is on a break right now while people have babies and get married and all that jazz. So I decided to take advantage of this time and shield and properly ground the bass. Then I decided to go even further and incorporate a switch that will allow me to go from traditional Precision tone to the Greese Bucket. I was making great progress, I had all the electronics out, I got all the copper laid down, but now I am stuck.
I placed an order with basspartsresource.com which has a lot of great stuff. Unfortunately I didn’t take the time to see where Paypal wanted to send my stuff and it got sent to an old address. The post office then promptly sent it back to the company. Oh wait, did I say promptly, I mean as slowly as humanly possible. I am still waiting for the package to get back to the company so it can get resent out to me. This means I am at a stand still for the moment. I am waiting on some capacitors, a new pickguard, new knobs, a new pot, and some other things. Until those arrive, I can just sit and stare at my work bench.
